• You will carry out visual inspections of optical components, including surfaces, using a microscope and magnifying glass
• You will carry out inspection tasks on individual optical parts and assemblies independently, in accordance with the required quality parameters and whilst adhering to the specified tolerances
• You will measure lenses and document and record the measurement data in SAP
• You will operate measuring equipment and document the test results (including completing test reports); You will adjust the measurement parameters in the measuring instruments’ analysis software
• You will set up the necessary measuring and testing equipment
• You will sort out defective parts and document defects and scrap

• a completed, subject-specific vocational training programme of at least 3 years’ duration, e.g. as a (physics) laboratory technician (m/f/d), dental technician (m/f/d), precision optician (m/f/d), optician (m/f/d) or a related role, you have
• alternatively, you have several years’ relevant professional experience
• you’ll stand out with initial experience in using microscopes, interferometers and digital measuring instruments
• You have SAP skills for approvals and material postings
• Good German language skills and a valid work permit are part of your profile
• You are willing to work in a two-shift system
