• You will be responsible for the technical analysis and ongoing optimisation of our highly complex microscopic illumination systems for specialised DUV photomask metrology as part of the international imaging team
• You will also be responsible for the detailed formulation and technical evaluation of all relevant requirement profiles for optical components and complex subsystems
• Furthermore, you will oversee the holistic development of innovative systemand assembly concepts, including the creation of precise test plans to ensure the highest technical quality standards within the project
• The systematic investigation of factors affecting the targeted measurement accuracy using physical simulations is also part of your operational responsibilities in this area
• As part of your role, you will support the coordination of key interfaces with internal and external partners and stakeholders, taking into account defined optical design specifications

• Finally, you will be responsible for the technical documentation of your results and for ensuring compliance with all applicable safety guidelines and process specifications within our global operating environment

• You have successfully completed a degree in a scientific or technical field with a clear focus on optics, optical design or systems engineering (m/f/d)
• You also have extensive professional experience in carrying out challenging development tasks and, ideally, some practical knowledge of professional project management
• Your solid knowledge of microscopy and working with Class 4 laser light sources sets you apart as an experienced expert in this field
• Business-level proficiency in spoken and written German, as well as fluency in spoken and written English, are essential for your day-to-day work
• Furthermore, you bring a high degree of independence, a structured approach to work and a great passion for precision engineering and modern lighting components to our team
