Your responsibilities

• You will take on the technical and managerial leadership of the Order Team and continuously manage and develop your staff
• Together with your team, you will ensure reliable and high-quality order processing, whilst keeping a close eye on order backlogs, processing times, quality and priorities.
• You will be responsible for the commercial processing of our customer orders, from checking and processing through to the correct handover to downstream processes
• Using relevant KPIs and reports, you will manage day-to-day operations, set clear priorities and allocate tasks to ensure a structured workflow even when order volumes are high
• You will analyse existing processes, identify opportunities for optimisation and automation, and support changes and new products within order management
• Together with your team, you ensure high data and process quality in SAP and CRM and provide support for complex order scenarios and escalations
• Working closely with Sales, Service, Finance, Billing, Product Management and IT, you ensure clear lines of responsibility and effective interfaces
• Despite your leadership responsibilities, you remain closely involved in day-to-day operations and support your team wherever your experience and decision-making authority are required

What we’re looking for

• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, a degree or hold a comparable qualification, as well as sound experience in order processing, order management or comparable commercial processes
• You have several years’ leadership experience and have already taken on technical and/or disciplinary responsibility for a team
• Leading and developing staff, setting clear goals, delegating responsibility and managing priorities are all part of your experience
• Even in challenging situations and periods of change, you provide guidance to your team, make decisions and communicate them clearly
• You are confident in using SAP ERP and CRM systems as well as MS Office, particularly Excel
• Thanks to a sound understanding of end-to-end processes, you recognise the interrelationships between orders, service delivery, invoicing and related business processes
• You are characterised by solution-oriented thinking, the ability to structure complex issues and set the right priorities even when facing a heavy workload
• With strong communication skills, you bring together different interests and stakeholders and enjoy actively shaping change in a dynamic environment alongside your team
