• In this role, you will load and unload lorries carrying frozen goods (down to -20 °C)
• You will be responsible for transporting pallets to and from high-bay warehouses
• You will be responsible for order picking, i.e. putting together orders based on picking lists
• You will also be responsible for the internal transport of goods between different warehouse areas
• You will sort goods by item number, batches or the FIFO/FEFO principle
• You will also check the goods for damage, best-before dates and correct labelling
• Documenting goods movements in the warehouse management system (WMS) is part of your duties
• You ensure the cold chain is maintained through visual inspections and temperature checks
• You are responsible for the maintenance and visual inspection of the forklift (e.g. changing the battery on electric forklifts)
• You will reliably comply with safety regulations such as load securing and traffic routes within the warehouse
• You will work reliably whilst wearing cold-weather protective clothing and observe the time limits for staying in the cold storage area

• you have already gained experience in warehousing or logistics
• you hold a valid forklift licence (industrial truck licence in accordance with DGUV Guideline 308-001)
• Good written and spoken German, as well as a valid work permit, are part of your profile
• You are physically fit for working in cold environments
• A high level of concentration, even in conditions of limited visibility (condensation, frost), round off your profile
