Order picker (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You’ll pick goods based on orders in the chilled storage area at around 4 degrees
• Using the ‘Ameise’ (electric low-lift pallet truck), you’ll transport the picked goods to the staging area
• You’ll check the picked items for completeness and accuracy against the order forms
• You’ll sort the prepared goods and set them aside for onward transport or dispatch
• When picking, you ensure compliance with hygiene regulations in accordance with IFSG
• Where required, you assist with assembling and dismantling pallets, as well as sorting goods in the warehouse
• You will record the quantities picked and report any discrepancies to your line managers
• You will keep the designated storage areas clean and tidy

What we’re looking for

• A forklift licence is an advantage, but not essential
• You have experience of operating an ‘Ameise’ (electric low-lift pallet truck)
• You can cope well with the cold, as work in the cold store is carried out at around 4 degrees
• You are meticulous and reliable when picking goods
• A basic spoken knowledge of German is required
• A valid work permit is required
• You are a team player and have a strong sense of responsibility
