For our client, a medium-sized surface and metal technology company in Solingen, we are looking for you as an Order Processing Clerk (m/f/d) as part of a temporary employment contract with a takeover option.

Job description

  • You will be responsible for recording all customer orders in the IT system and thus ensure complete documentation of all business transactions in the system
  • In addition, you will be responsible for creating order confirmations and production orders to ensure a smooth production process
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for creating delivery notes and shipping documents, always ensuring that deliveries to customers are made on time:
  • Invoicing is also one of your tasks, whereby you check the commercial correctness of all documents in accordance with internal guidelines
  • As part of your job, you support the coordination with the logistics department, to ensure efficient dispatch of goods and a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Furthermore, you support the team in general correspondence with business partners and ensure professional communication in all matters
  • Finally, you are responsible for maintaining the master data in the ERP system and thus make a significant contribution to data quality within your area of responsibility

Requirements

  • You have completed training as an office management assistant (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or wholesale and foreign trade management assistant (m/f/d)
  • In addition, you have sound professional experience in commercial order processing or in internal sales, ideally in a manufacturing company in the metal industry
  • You are characterised by your sound knowledge of common ERP systems and MS Office applications, enabling you to process complex processes efficiently
  • You have a native level of written and spoken German to ensure precise communication with customers and colleagues:and colleagues
  • In addition, you have a high degree of reliability and a pronounced service orientation in order to competently fulfil the requirements of our business partners:
  • Finally, you are resilient and always work in a structured and independent manner, even if an increased workload in the department requires quick prioritisation
