For our client, a medium-sized wood processing and sawmill technology company in Wain, we are looking for you as Order Processing Clerk (m/f/d) as part of the temporary employment with takeover option.

Job description

  • You will be responsible for the complete order processing on a national and international level from the first order confirmation to on-time delivery and final invoicing
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the precise preparation and conscientious checking of all required shipping documents in strict compliance with the applicable legal regulations

  • The technical customer support is also part of your tasks, whereby you act as a competent contact person for all questions regarding the current delivery status and the shipping modalities
  • As part of your job, you support active communication with various forwarding agents, to ensure efficient transport planning and prompt collection of the goods produced
  • Finally, you will be responsible for carefully checking the incoming freight invoices and comparing them with the agreed conditions to ensure correct billing within the accounting department

Requirements

  • You have completed commercial training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d) or forwarding and logistics clerk (m/f/d) or alternatively as a wholesale and foreign trade management clerk (m/f/d)
  • In addition, you have sound professional experience in the field of logistics and shipping, which means that you are already very familiar with the specific processes of international goods flows
  • You have a sound knowledge of the common IT systems and ideally some experience with ATLAS software for customs clearance.systems and ideally initial experience in using the ATLAS software for customs clearance characterise you in your day-to-day work
  • You have a native level of written and spoken German and a good basic knowledge of English for communicating with international partners
