• You will work with paints for the automotive industry and manufacturers of plastic parts
• You will develop new colour shades to meet customer requirements and apply customised coating systems
• You apply paint to samples for customers and also demonstrate paints on-site
• Working as part of a team with sales staff and laboratory colleagues, you undertake creative and responsible tasks
• You will refine, develop and optimise existing products
• You will carry out test coatings at the factory and at the customer’s premises

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a paint laboratory technician (m/f/d), a chemical laboratory technician (m/f/d) or hold a comparable science-based qualification, such as a chemical technician (m/f/d),
• Initial professional experience in the paint or chemical industry is an advantage; motivated career starters (m/f/d) are also welcome
• You have experience in the field of metallic and effect paints, colour formulation, paint application and colourimetry
• You are characterised by in-depth expertise in chemical and physical analytical methods, as well as manual or technical skills
• You are confident using MS Office applications and laboratory data systems
• Good written and spoken German is an asset
• You can tackle technical tasks independently
