Painter (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You’ll clean metal parts to remove dirt or grease, thereby preparing the surface
• You’ll remove rust by blasting or grinding
• You will mask off parts and connections that are not to be painted, thereby protecting them
• You will apply an initial protective layer against rust as a primer
• You will mix paints according to precise specifications and data sheets
• You apply paint evenly using airless or electrostatic spray guns
• You carry out intermediate sanding and apply subsequent coats for multi-layer finishes
• Measure the film thickness and check whether the paint layer is thick enough
• Check the surface for blisters or unevenness
• Carry out touch-ups to ensure a clean finish

What we’re looking for

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a painter and varnisher (m/f/d), industrial painter (m/f/d) or hold a comparable qualification
• You also hold a valid forklift licence
• You can demonstrate a working knowledge of German and hold valid work permits
• Furthermore, you are willing to work in a two-shift system
• A Class B driving licence would be an advantage
