• You prepare and check tools, equipment and test apparatus
• You compare the workshop order with the drawing
• You prepare the order for painting in accordance with the allocation list and clean or activate the components
• You paint surfaces, rows of rivets and putty seams, and carry out coating thickness measurements
• You mask off or plug component surfaces and fitting holes, and remove threaded inserts and mass stickers
• You will touch up coating defects such as scratches or dust inclusions and sand them down if necessary
• You will clean and maintain your personal spray equipment, and you also maintain the department-specific plant and equipment in accordance with instructions or checklists
• You reliably complete the necessary documentation in the workshop order, the customer order and the machine logbook, including checklists

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a painter (m/f/d), vehicle painter (m/f/d), industrial painter (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• professional experience in the field of paint finishing/surface treatment is an advantage
• you are confident in working with technical drawings, work plans and production documents
• Good written and spoken German, as well as a valid work permit, are part of your profile
• You are also willing to work shifts
• You are characterised by a meticulous, independent and quality-conscious approach to your work
