Painter (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You’ll remove old wallpaper professionally and then clean the surface
• You’ll cut new wallpaper – such as woodchip, non-woven or patterned – to size and hang it neatly
• You’ll prepare surfaces by sanding, filling and making professional repairs
• You’ll carry out painting work on walls, ceilings, doors and window frames independently
• You will independently assess the condition of the surface and select the appropriate techniques and materials
• You will plan your work steps, as well as the time and materials required, on your own initiative and monitor the quality of your work yourself
• You reliably meet deadlines and quality standards and

carefully cover and protect floors, furniture and fittings

• You ensure cleanliness and tidiness in the workplace and dispose of waste materials, such as old wallpaper or leftover paint, in the correct manner
• In the event of queries or deviations, you liaise directly with customers or the site management

What we’re looking for

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a painter and varnisher (m/f/d), a building and commercial coatings specialist (m/f/d) or hold a comparable qualification
• You have several years’ professional experience in painting and wallpapering
• You have already gained experience in independently planning and carrying out work processes
• Knowledge of different types of wallpaper and substrates is an advantage
• You are confident in using wallpapering tools (spatula, paste, seam roller) and painting tools (brushes, rollers, spray guns)
• A good command of spoken German and a valid work permit are part of your profile
• A Class B driving licence would be an advantage
• Working independently and confidently identifying and resolving problems on site are no problem for you
• You are characterised by reliability, a sense of responsibility and a meticulous, tidy approach to your work
