For our client, a large medical research and health sciences company in Heidelberg, we are looking for you as a legal assistant (m/f/d) as part of the temporary employment with takeover option.

Job description

  • You will be responsible for independently organising the secretariat of the legal department and reliably coordinating all administrative and organisational processes for your entire team
  • In addition, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating complex appointments and internal meetings and communicating confidently with the Executive Board secretariat and external partners
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for processing and monitoring important deadlines in a legal context and ensure that all deadlines are met at all times through your conscientious way of working
  • Supporting contract processing by comparing legal documents and preparing important decision papers

  • As part of your role, you actively support exciting digitalisation projects and the continuous optimisation of existing processes, to sustainably increase efficiency within the department
  • Finally, you will be responsible for general assistance including mail processing, travel organisation and trademark rights management, ensuring that day-to-day operations run smoothly

Requirements

  • You have successfully completed training as a legal assistant (m/f/d), office management assistant (m/f/d) or foreign language correspondent (m/f/d) and have sound commercial expertise
  • In addition, you have initial relevant professional experience in a legal or scientific environment, which enables you to confidently fulfil the specific requirements of a legal department
  • You are characterised by your confident knowledge of Microsoft Office, whereby you are particularly proficient in using Excel and Word to create documents and tables
  • You have a native level of written and spoken German and an excellent command of English, enabling you to communicate professionally with international partners and law firms
  • Furthermore, you have a high level of organisational talent and a proactive way of working, which allows you to always maintain an overview even in stressful situations
  • Finally, you are absolutely discreet and reliable and enjoy working in a dedicated team, where you make a positive impression with your friendly demeanour
