Job description

  • You will be responsible for the timely preparation, checking and approval of all monthly payroll statements for various companies in DATEV, whilst ensuring compliance with all legal requirements and internal standards
  • You will also be responsible for maintaining personal master data, managing payroll accounts, and carrying out checks to ensure the accuracy of payroll data, working closely with other departments
  • Furthermore, you will assist staff, administrative personnel and facility managers with all queries regarding payroll and act as the central on-site contact person to ensure smooth communication
  • Handling all matters relating to health insurance funds, tax offices and public authorities, including the submission of relevant documents and the resolution of outstanding issues within the legal framework
  • As part of your role, you will actively support project work in the payroll department and contribute to the optimisation and digitalisation of processes relating to payroll
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for the timely and smooth implementation of legislative changes and internal guidelines relating to the payroll processing of all employees

Requirements

  • You have completed a vocational qualification as an Office Management Assistant (m/f/d), an industrial business administrator (m/f/d) or a tax clerk (m/f/d), or you have substantial professional experience in payroll accounting or have undertaken further training in payroll accounting, and you have some initial experience
