Job description

  • You will be responsible for the timely and independent preparation and execution of the monthly payroll, in compliance with all statutory and company requirements
  • You will also be responsible for the complete recording and ongoing management of all relevant data relating to the company’s time and attendance records for all staff
  • Furthermore, you will oversee the professional preparation of statutory notifications, certificates and meaningful analyses for internal reporting and external bodies
  • Regular correspondence and coordination with health insurance providers, tax offices and other authorities is also part of your varied daily duties
  • As part of your role, you will provide expert and solution-oriented support and advice to staff on any queries arising regarding payroll
  • Furthermore, you will assist with the maintenance of master data and the proper management of personnel files, whilst strictly adhering to applicable data protection guidelines
  • Finally, you will be responsible for the careful preparation of travel expense claims and will work closely with the financial accounting team on monthly and annual financial statements

Requirements

  • You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), office management assistant (m/f/d) or tax clerk (m/f/d)
  • you also have several years’ sound professional experience in the field of payroll accounting, as well as a solid knowledge of employment and collective bargaining law
  • your confident use of standard MS Office applications and your ability to work confidently with modern payroll systems set you apart in your day-to-day work
