Job description

  • You will be responsible for the independent implementation of monthly payroll accounting for your defined payroll area using SAP HCM as well as the implementation of applicable collective bargaining regulations
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the complete processing of all entry and exit scenarios as well as the continuous maintenance and updating of the relevant personnel master data within the systems
  • Furthermore, you will provide competent support to employees, managers and the works council in all matters relating to payroll accounting, social security law and wage tax law
  • You will also be responsible for preparing the certification system and handling the electronic reporting system, including the associated correspondence with authorities and social security institutions
  • As part of your role, you will support the operational implementation of complex personnel issues such as partial retirement, company pension schemes and various other employee benefits, part-time work, company pension schemes and the various models for long-term pension provision
  • In addition, you will support the specialist departments in maintaining and checking time management data and work very closely with the respective time managers in the individual areas
  • Finally, you will be responsible for the administrative processing of foreign assignments, applying for the necessary visas and carrying out all the necessary social security reporting procedures for the people assigned

Requirements

  • You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), office management clerk (m/f/d) or tax clerk (m/f/d)
  • In addition, you have sound professional experience in operational payroll accounting and ideally already have some practical user knowledge of the SAP HCM payroll system
  • You have a sound knowledge of common MS Office applications, especially in Excel, characterise you and support you in the efficient processing of your daily tasks
  • You have German language skills at native speaker level, both written and spoken, to ensure legally compliant correspondence and professional advice for your internal and external contacts
  • You also have a high level of teamwork and communication skills and impress with your independent, structured and absolutely reliable way of working, structured and absolutely reliable way of working in your specialist area
