Plant mechanic SHK (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You will install waste water pipes, drinking water pipes and heating pipes in building shells and lay the pipework to the highest professional standards
• You will use pre-prepared wall recesses, ceiling openings and pre-wall systems to fit pipes with precision
• You will lay insulation and system panels for underfloor heating and position the heating pipes with millimetre precision before the screed is poured
• You professionally install cisterns, concealed fittings and manifolds, for example for underfloor heating
• You install controlled domestic ventilation systems, including the associated air ducts
• You will install modern heat generators such as heat pumps, pellet boilers or gas condensing boilers in accordance with specifications
• You will set up hot water and buffer tanks and integrate them into the control system
• You will fit washbasins, toilets, baths, showers and fittings and connect them professionally

What we’re looking for

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a plant mechanic for plumbing, heating and air-conditioning technology (m/f/d), a gas and water installer (m/f/d) or a central heating and ventilation engineer (m/f/d)
• You have practical experience in laying pipework and installing plumbing and heating systems
• You are confident in using standard tools and measuring equipment
• You have good manual dexterity and an eye for precision work down to the millimetre
• A basic knowledge of German and a valid work permit are an advantage
• The ability to work as part of a team and reliability are important qualities for you in your day-to-day work
