Plastics and rubber process mechanic (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• In your role, you’ll set up and start up tools and machinery
• You’ll train and instruct plant operators in the operation of the equipment, as well as in specific health and safety and quality assurance requirements, and monitor compliance with existing health and safety regulations
• You will be responsible for organising production and overseeing the start of series production, as well as organising the shift schedule, including the provision of materials and shift handover
• You carry out tool changeovers, cleaning and inspections, and request the necessary resources should repairs be required
• You carry out functional tests on the safety devices of machines and plant and document these in the set-up report
• Your duties include the provision and management of production documentation, as well as the manual and electronic backup of machine set-up parameters
• You monitor and ensure compliance with the production data acquisition (BDE) reporting system, operating instructions and working time regulations
• In addition, you monitor compliance with technical specifications, carry out sampling, plan staff deployment, carry out maintenance work as part of the PVI, ensure order and cleanliness, monitor energy targets and contribute to the continuous improvement of production processes as well as to tasks within the scope of the QM responsibility matrix

What we are looking for

• You have professional experience as a mould maker (m/f/d) or as a machine and plant operator in the plastics and rubber sector

(m/f/d)

with

• you have knowledge of working with machinery and plant technology
• you are confident in using PC technology and associated software (MS Office)
• Good written and spoken German, as well as a valid work permit, are part of your profile
• A driving licence and a forklift licence round off your profile
