Job description

  • You will be responsible for the independent programming and commissioning of modern PLCs for customised switchgear, whilst ensuring compliance with all specified quality standards and deadlines
  • You will also be responsible for the creation, optimisation and debugging of control code in Siemens Simatic to ensure smooth production processes
  • Furthermore, you will oversee the creation of technical documentation and circuit diagrams for the implementation of complex industrial plants, working closely with the project team
  • The ongoing review and adaptation of existing automation systems to changing requirements also forms part of your varied daily tasks and responsibilities
  • As part of your role, you will assist with the preparation of test runs and the simulation of automated processes to prevent potential malfunctions
  • Furthermore, you will support the on-site technical contacts in carrying out functional tests and in training qualified specialist staff
  • Finally, you will be responsible for providing technical advice and support to internal stakeholders regarding innovative solution concepts in the field of modern control technology

Requirements
