• You will be responsible for the independent development and systematic testing of innovative functional polymeric or mineral yarns
• You will also be responsible for the strategic management of our entire range of technical fabrics within our diverse composites portfolio
• Furthermore, you will oversee the definition of all functional specifications for new products, whilst strictly adhering to cost, quality and deadline requirements
• Initiating and carrying out complex test series on pilot and industrial plants is also part of your daily, exciting tasks
• As part of your role, you will support the cross-site coordination of research and development projects with various internal departments such as Marketing and Production
• Furthermore, you will actively support the demanding process of industrialisation and the successful introduction of new products into production
• Finally, you will be responsible for providing specialist technical support on quality issues in close and productive collaboration with our production teams

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a textile engineer (m/f/d) or successfully completed a degree in the field of polymer materials
• You also have several years of solid industrial experience, as well as a strong ability to quickly find your feet in a state-of-the-art production environment
• You stand out thanks to your confident knowledge of standard MS Office applications, as well as specific development tools and modern data analysis systems
• You have business-level German skills, both spoken and written, at a native level, as well as fluent, practical English skills for communication
• Furthermore, you bring a highly cooperative and agile approach to your work, and are willing to undertake occasional training stays in France
• Finally, you are strongly business- and customer-oriented, and impress with your strong communication skills when dealing with various partners
• To fulfil this responsible role, in addition to your professional expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and have a permanent residence in Germany
