• You will install and maintain systems fitted with large motors within the Göttingen city area
• You will carry out maintenance and repair work on the systems independently
• You carry out welding work using TIG, manual arc and oxy-fuel methods
• If faults occur in the plant engineering or in the measurement and control systems, you isolate and rectify them
• You maintain district and local heating networks and ensure their reliable operation
• For combined heat and power plants, large boilers and combined heat and power units, you support safe plant operation through regular inspections
• You document the work you have carried out and the results of your inspections in a traceable manner
• As part of on-call duties, you are responsible for rectifying faults on the plant

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a heating engineer (m/f/d), plant mechanic (m/f/d) or industrial mechanic (m/f/d) specialising in power station technology
• You have experience working with large plant, machinery and engines
• You have good welding skills, for example in TIG, manual arc and oxy-fuel welding (exams can be arranged and costs covered by the client)
• Ideally, you have some initial experience in the field of large boilers or combined heat and power plants
• You hold a Class B/BE driving licence
• We require you to have a good command of written and spoken German
• You are willing to be on call
• You live within a radius of approximately 40 minutes’ drive of Göttingen
• You work meticulously, reliably and independently
• A valid work permit completes your profile
