Pre-installation Technician (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

Responsibilities: Carry out incoming goods checks and enter all details into the stock management system; assemble printers; prepare hardware: unpack and assemble models (e.g. finishers, additional paper trays) and carry out functional testing. Software setup: Installing firmware, configuring network settings, IP addresses, ‘Scan to Mail/Folder’ functions and security certificates. Fault diagnosis: Testing components and rectifying initial technical faults in the workshop. Documentation: Recording the configuration and handing it over to the field service team for final installation at the customer’s premises. Requirements: Completed technical training, ideally as an Information Electronics Technician, Office Systems Technician (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification. Skills: Manual dexterity and a basic understanding of IT networks (TCP/IP, driver installation). Working style: Meticulous, structured and independent approach to work.
