• You will manufacture various optical components using all relevant production techniques, from grinding to finishing
• You will set up various grinding machines professionally and operate them safely in the daily production process
• You will carry out quality assessment and self-inspection independently to ensure high standards
• You will prepare workpieces for processing, including cementing according to procedures and specifications
• During the manufacturing process, you are responsible for carrying out all measurements and inspections according to the specifications
• You carefully document your measurements and at the same time ensure the protection of this data
• You clean and maintain the machines regularly according to the maintenance schedule, to ensure their functionality and longevity
• you consistently ensure compliance with the specified quality standards
• you also care for, clean and maintain the tools and auxiliary equipment after use

• You have completed vocational training as a precision optician (m/f/d), mechanic (m/f/d), optometrist (m/f/d), dental technician (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• You are comfortable working with precision techniques, you have dexterity and a sense of responsibility for detailed processes
• Basic IT skills (e.g. MS Office and SAP) are familiar to you
• Technical understanding and a good spatial imagination help you to process and adjust complex components
• You have a good knowledge of German
