Precision Mechanic (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• you carefully deburr and machine precision components in accordance with
• you remove burrs, swarf and uneven surfaces safely and cleanly
• You’ll use various tools and methods, such as hand deburring tools, micro-grinding machines, brushes, blasting or vibratory finishing
• You’ll straighten delicate shafts with a steady hand and precision
• You carry out precise visual and metrological inspections of the components, checking aspects such as surface roughness, dimensions and edges
• You document your work reliably and in a traceable manner
• You liaise closely with production and quality assurance
• You set up and operate simple machines such as drills or polishing blocks
• You look after and maintain tools and equipment, including resharpening them

What we’re looking for

• a completed technical or trade apprenticeship, e.g. as a machinist (m/f/d) or precision engineering mechanic

(m/f/d)

or you can demonstrate a comparable qualification in the metalworking sector

• Experience in using hand deburring tools, micro-grinding machines or similar tools would be an advantage
• You are fully confident in reading technical drawings and test reports
• A good command of spoken German and a valid work permit are part of your profile
• You work meticulously and with a high degree of precision, even when dealing with intricate components
• You are characterised by your ability to work in a team, a sense of responsibility, manual dexterity and a good eye for dimensions and surfaces
