Process Engineer for Plastics and Rubber Technology – Injection Moulding

Your responsibilities

• You will set up and operate injection moulding machines (particularly Arburg machines), including peripheral equipment
• You will be responsible for monitoring and optimising ongoing production processes
• You will also inspect parts and assist with mould sampling
• You will carry out minor repair work on machines and moulds
• Furthermore, you will be responsible for quality assurance in accordance with specifications
• Documenting process and quality data rounds off your role

What we’re looking for

• You have completed an apprenticeship, e.g. as a process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology (m/f/d), or hold a comparable qualification, ideally with several years’ experience in injection moulding
• You have knowledge of setting up, operating and optimising injection moulding machines (particularly Arburg), as well as experience in mould sampling and process optimisation
• you also have a basic understanding of quality assurance and documentation, and ideally of automation technology and peripheral equipment
• a valid forklift or crane licence, as well as knowledge of MS Office, would be an advantage
• You are naturally adept at working with technical drawings and testing equipment
• Your technical understanding and problem-solving skills are key strengths
• Your profile includes spoken German and a valid work permit
• You are willing to work shifts
• You impress with your commitment to quality and sense of responsibility
• You are a team player; you are flexible and work independently, in a structured and meticulous manner
