• You will develop new manufacturing processes and test them in pilot plants
• You will carry out mass and energy balances as well as process simulations independently
• You will draw up flow diagrams, such as PFDs and R&I diagrams, for plant construction
• The design of equipment and machinery falls within your remit
• You monitor and optimise existing production processes with regard to quality and resource conservation
• You will draw up risk analyses, safety concepts and work instructions to ensure safe plant operation
• During on-site installation, you will oversee the implementation and carry out the relevant measurements
• You will support the commissioning of plant and act as the technical point of contact
• You will coordinate technical details and process flows in consultation with colleagues and project partners

• You hold a degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a comparable technical qualification
• You have gained experience in process simulation and in drawing up mass and energy balances
• You also have in-depth knowledge of drawing up flow diagrams such as PFDs and R&I flow diagrams
• Your sound technical understanding of plant engineering and the design of apparatus and machinery is a strong point
• You impress with your strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• You are characterised by an independent and structured approach to your work
