• You will carry out slag tapping (BSO and SRO), monitoring the slag flow and temperature, keeping the drainage path clear, checking the pelletising channel and operating the tamping and drilling machine. Cleaning work is also included
• You take slag and lead samples and pass them on
• You tap pump pipes, pump lead and pass it on to the refinery after consultation
• You always keep an eye on the lead flow and temperature; you keep the lead channel clear and check the underflow (BSO and SRO)
• you carry out all cleaning work in the production area, including with tools such as a pneumatic hammer
• you carry out simple transport work with a forklift truck and crane as instructed
• you check the solid phase at the SRO using an air lance/O₂ lance and check and remove deposits on the SRO process nozzles

• You have completed vocational training, e.g. as a metal process technician (m/f/d), smelter (m/f/d), metal technology specialist (m/f/d) or comparable professional experience
• You can also demonstrate a good command of spoken German and valid working papers
• You are willing to work a continuous shift for 6 days, to then have 3 days off
