- You will independently analyse markets, customer- and sector-specific trends, and evaluate the results in terms of strategic opportunities, challenges and ethical standards, particularly in the field of ballistic products for the defence industry
- You will also be responsible for drawing up, maintaining and implementing market-driven business plans within the defined portfolio, whilst precisely aligning internal processes with customer expectations and independently applying economic benchmarks
- Furthermore, you act as a key link between Sales, Marketing, Research and Development and Production, prioritising complex projects and ensuring their successful execution even under challenging organisational conditions within a matrix organisation
- Product specifications are defined in collaboration with Sales and customers, whereby you manage all technical optimisation options and ensure continuous development – even when resistance arises
- As part of your role, you will regularly analyse the profitability of the product groups assigned to you and document improvement measures, taking into account internal and external factors
- Steering and managing new product launches, as well as responsibility for the end--of-life process for the product groups are among your strategic responsibilities and require a high degree of personal accountability and strong decision-making skills, even when dealing with ethically sensitive products
- Furthermore, you will actively support the Sales team in establishing new and maintaining existing customer contacts, and demonstrate strong communication skills to ensure sustainable relationships and successful project closures
Requirements

- You also have several years’ professional experience in the product management of technically complex products and are well-versed in dealing with strategic challenges and a wide range of customer and market requirements
- You also bring useful knowledge of ceramics technology as well as experience in the field of ballistic products to the demanding technical tasks involved in product management
- Your expertise in the preparation, maintaining and implementing business plans enables you to make economic decisions independently and in a targeted manner for the product portfolio
- Furthermore, you have a confident command of German at native speaker level, as well as very good written and spoken English, enabling you to communicate professionally with customers and international partner companies with confidence
- In addition, you are characterised by strong collaborative skills, a strong sense of personal responsibility, a passion for customer service and clarity in strategic communication
