• You remove the fired ceramics from the kiln shelf and store them safely in accordance with the applicable work and procedural instructions
• You carefully remove any adhering fused corundum from the ceramic pieces
• You visually inspect the ceramic pieces for cracks, chipping at edges and corners, warping and bending
• During the visual inspection, you identify discolouration caused by evaporation (firing marks on the underside of the tiles) as well as impurities resulting from melting, such as glass spots or coloured marks
• You sort out rejected parts and inform your supervisor
• Using parts lists, you carefully pack the ceramics in a manner suitable for dispatch
• You label the goods correctly using the process control cards and hand them over to the transfer warehouse in accordance with procedures
• You record all relevant information in the production data acquisition system (SAP)
• As part of the CeramTec production system, you implement measures such as 5S, TPM and quality initiatives
• You reliably carry out any additional tasks assigned to you by your line manager

• You’ll have basic IT skills so that you can enter data into a production data collection system such as SAP
• A basic knowledge of spoken German is a key strength of yours
