• You will be responsible for the operational and strategic management of production and will have technical and disciplinary responsibility for staff
• You will manage production with regard to quality, costs, productivity and adherence to deadlines
• You will plan production capacities and resources and be responsible for work planning and production control
• You will also be responsible for materials procurement and materials planning, as well as the

continuous optimisation of production processes, cycle times and set-up times

• You monitor target and actual times and production costs, and initiate appropriate measures in the event of deviations
• You are responsible for the maintenance, repair and availability of the machinery
• Furthermore, you ensure compliance with quality, health and safety, and environmental requirements
• Within the framework of the applicable welding requirements and certifications, you support the welding supervision team

• You have completed a technical apprenticeship in the metalworking sector with relevant further training, ideally as a welding technician (IWT) or welding specialist (IWS)
• You have already gained several years’ professional experience in a metalworking company
• You have experience with welded assemblies and mechanical engineering components, ideally including experience in team leadership and organisation
• You have a good knowledge of work preparation, costing and production planning
• You have no difficulty reading technical drawings with confidence and ease
• Knowledge of ERP and MS Office is part of your profile
• You impress with your assertiveness and a practical, direct management style
