• You will be responsible for the operational planning, control and close monitoring of the entire production process, taking into account defined quality standards and deadlines
• In addition, you will be responsible for the precise creation of internal production orders, detailed work instructions and the continuous documentation of all processes
• In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring that all customer orders in the field of sophisticated precision optics are completed on time and to the required quality
• Active support in defining and sustainably ensuring product and process quality is also part of your daily tasks
• As part of your role, you will support the technical and disciplinary management, motivation and further development of your entire team in production
• Furthermore, you will support the continuous optimisation of the existing structural and process organisation to increase overall efficiency in production
• Finally, you will be responsible for the strategic further development of proven production methods as well as the successful introduction and implementation of future-oriented technologies and processes

• You have a completed qualification as a physics engineer (m/f/d), industrial engineer (m/f/d) or a successfully completed degree in the field of physical engineering
• In addition, you have sound professional experience in a managerial role within optics production, precision mechanics or a comparable machining production
• You are confident in the use of common IT systems such as SAP and the classic MS Office products
• You have a very good command of written and spoken German at native speaker level and an advantageous command of English for international communication
• In addition, you have a high level of organisational skills, strong communication skills at all levels and a deep-rooted quality awareness
• Finally, you are absolutely assertive, characterised by a strong basic commercial understanding and a cooperative management style
