Job description

  • You ensure that bills of materials and orders are complete, plausible and compliant with variants
  • You identify critical components, such as special parts, components with long lead times or dependencies
  • You carry out regular material availability checks for vehicles
  • You create and continuously update an overview of missing parts
  • You assess the manufacturability of individual assemblies and vehicles
  • You act as the central point of contact for missing parts prior to the start of production, analyse the causes and follow these up consistently until a final solution is found
  • You identify impending production stoppages at an early stage and ensure a smooth production process through realistic, robust planning
  • As the point of contact, you will work closely with Production, Engineering, Work Planning, Procurement and suppliers, and escalate schedule risks early and in a targeted manner

Requirements

  • You have completed a technical apprenticeship, ideally with further training in vehicle engineering, mechanical engineering or mechatronics
  • You have already gained experience in working with bills of materials and have an understanding of production and assembly processes
  • Your experience of working with the SAP ERP system will be an asset
  • Good written and spoken German is a given for you
