- You ensure that bills of materials and orders are complete, plausible and compliant with variants
- You identify critical components, such as special parts, components with long lead times or dependencies
- You carry out regular material availability checks for vehicles
- You create and continuously update an overview of missing parts
- You assess the manufacturability of individual assemblies and vehicles
- You act as the central point of contact for missing parts prior to the start of production, analyse the causes and follow these up consistently until a final solution is found
- You identify impending production stoppages at an early stage and ensure a smooth production process through realistic, robust planning
- As the point of contact, you will work closely with Production, Engineering, Work Planning, Procurement and suppliers, and escalate schedule risks early and in a targeted manner
Requirements
- You have completed a technical apprenticeship, ideally with further training in vehicle engineering, mechanical engineering or mechatronics
- You have already gained experience in working with bills of materials and have an understanding of production and assembly processes
- Your experience of working with the SAP ERP system will be an asset
- Good written and spoken German is a given for you
