Production mechanic (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You’ll carry out conversions and modifications to municipal vehicles
• You’ll professionally fit hydraulic and electrical auxiliary equipment or specialised superstructures for municipal purposes, such as winter maintenance
• You’ll support the team in identifying and rectifying faults in vehicles
• You’ll repair or replace components under supervision
• You will carry out the required assembly and modification work in accordance with drawings, 3D models and work instructions
• You will check that installed components and superstructures are correctly fitted and functioning properly

What we’re looking for

• You have completed vocational training as a production mechanic (m/f/d), automotive mechatronics technician (m/f/d), automotive electrician (m/f/d) or a comparable skilled trade qualification
• Ideally, you will have experience in the assembly or maintenance of passenger cars or commercial vehicles
• You will have basic knowledge of metalworking, vehicle electrics and hydraulics
• Very good German language skills (at least C1) are required for clear communication within the team and a sound understanding of work instructions and safety guidelines
• You demonstrate a high level of quality awareness in your work
