• You will validate new gas turbine components and optimise existing components to ensure cost-effective and manufacturable production
• You will draw up work plans, select suitable manufacturing technologies and define the required capacity in terms of staff, machinery and production aids
• Defining jigs, NC programmes and quality documents falls within your remit
• Together with Engineering and Manufacturing, you will develop production-ready solutions for new components, prototypes and modifications to existing gas turbines
• You will resolve technical issues and deviations, support continuous process optimisation, and contribute to improving product costs, on-time delivery, and compliance with occupational health and safety and environmental protection requirements

• You have a bachelor’s degree, for example in mechanical engineering, production engineering or industrial engineering, or alternatively, you have completed further training to become a state-certified technician with a relevant specialisation
• you have at least five years’ professional experience in production planning and manufacturing technology, as well as in CNC machining
• you have in-depth experience with Siemens NX or comparable CAD/CAM systems, CAM-supported CNC toolpath generation, the programming of CNC controls such as Sinumerik 840D or One, or Heidenhain iTNC, and you have the willingness and expertise to commission programmes on machines independently and carry out technical trials directly on the equipment
• you have knowledge of .NET, Python, Git and Jira, as well as confidence in using standard MS Office products
• You have business-fluent German and a good command of written and spoken English
• To fulfil this role of responsibility, in addition to your technical expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and be permanently resident in Germany
