• During your first few weeks in Düsseldorf, you’ll get to know your colleagues, the various departments and the typical TAKENAKAWay approach to construction projects
• You’ll then be assigned to a building site anywhere in Germany, where you’ll take on technical and organisational responsibility for the project
• You will review the fundamentals of the construction project, brief the site management team accordingly, coordinate and support them in carrying out the construction work, and assume technical and organisational responsibility for the site management team
• You will lead and chair negotiations and meetings with clients and subcontractors, acting as the client’s first point of contact
• You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the contractually agreed specifications and quality standards, as well as all legal requirements
• You will ensure that all deadlines, the agreed schedule and all agreed milestones are met, and organise the final handover
• You will review the cost estimates
• You will maintain an overview of the total costs and ensure that the budget is adhered to

• A degree in civil engineering or architecture forms the basis of your qualifications
• You have already gained at least 4 to 5 years’ professional experience as a site manager (m/f/d) and at least 2 years’ practical experience as a project manager (m/f/d) in turnkey building construction
• You have successfully completed at least two projects in industrial and/or commercial construction; this experience is essential. Experience in residential construction is a welcome addition, but experience in residential construction alone is not sufficient
• You will score points with sound IT skills and proficiency in MS Office
• You have a good command of written and spoken German
• You are a team player and reliable
• You are resident in Germany and hold a valid residence permit
