• You will take on independent responsibility for sub-project or project management within the Microwave Power Modules Programme and for sophisticated systems for satellite applications
• You will be responsible for the precise planning, milestone-based coordination and comprehensive management of highly complex projects in the international space industry
• As the main point of contact, you will support customers worldwide in all programme-related, contractual and technical matters throughout the entire project duration
• You will continuously work on structured project plans and keep them up to date
• You will manage client change requests professionally and assess them in terms of effort, deadlines and costs
• You will assess risks and opportunities proactively and implement appropriate measures
• You keep track of the current progress and ensure strict adherence to the schedule
• You monitor all project costs incurred and liaise with the relevant departments in the event of any deviations
• You prepare relevant key figures and technical modifications transparently to manage project progress throughout the entire lifecycle
• You present the current project status confidently and persuasively at regular internal steering group meetings and in external meetings with international business partners

• You have successfully completed a degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering or industrial engineering
• You have several years’ solid professional experience in independently managing or co-managing technical projects, ideally in the aerospace or satellite sector
• You have a strong command of standard MS Office applications as well as specialised project management software for scheduling and resource planning
• You have business-level proficiency in German (C1/C2) as well as fluency in spoken and written English to suit the international working environment
• You bring a high degree of assertiveness and strong organisational skills to the role
• You are solution-oriented and work in a structured, independent manner, upholding high quality standards whilst adhering to defined milestones
• You have a confident manner and are able to deliver compelling presentations to internal steering groups and at external meetings with international business partners
• You hold a valid work permit and are permanently resident in Germany
