• You will be responsible for the independent planning and comprehensive management of challenging civil engineering projects, including the systematic preparation of quotations and detailed work planning
• You will also be responsible for the professional execution of new constructionand repair works on retaining structures and reinforced concrete bridges whilst railway services are in operation
• Furthermore, you will oversee the high-quality and on-time delivery of all construction projects, whilst reliably adhering to the calculated project budget and the specified targets
• Managing staff and the targeted deployment of the assigned site team are also part of your daily responsibilities in this role
• As part of your role, you will coordinate external subcontractors and oversee the awarding of all subcontractor services based on economic and quality criteria
• Furthermore, you will support the efficient scheduling of heavy plant and building materials and undertake the careful verification of all construction invoices
• Finally, you will be responsible for the professional preparation and enforcement of contract amendments as part of ongoing contract amendment management throughout the entire project

• You have successfully completed a degree in civil engineering or a comparable engineering discipline at a university
• In addition, you have several years’ solid professional experience as a site manager (m/f/d) or project manager (m/f/d) in the field of structural engineering
• You complement your sound knowledge of building law and the VOB with proficiency in construction-specific software and MS Office
• Your business-fluent command of German, both spoken and written, sets you apart and ensures smooth communication with all project stakeholders
• Furthermore, you demonstrate a highly structured, independent and goal-oriented approach to work, coupled with strong organisational skills
