For our client, a medium-sized refrigeration and air conditioning company in Erfurt, we are looking for you as Purchasing Clerk (m/f/d) as part of the temporary employment with takeover option.

Job description

  • You will be responsible for the independent review and approval of all purchase orders in strict compliance with internal purchasing guidelines to ensure smooth procurement processes
  • In addition, you will be responsible for converting and generating purchase requisitions and continuously monitoring all open processes in the SAP R/3 MM module
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for the clarification and targeted bundling of requirements based on the existing purchase requisitions, to sustainably increase efficiency within the entire supply chain
  • The transfer of the final order to the respective suppliers is also one of your tasks and you ensure that all relevant information is transmitted on time
  • As part of your job, you will support the professional checking and processing of incoming invoices and take care of and processing of incoming invoices and, if necessary, take care of internal forwarding to the specialist departments
  • Finally, you are responsible for communication with internal interface partners and ensure high data quality within the purchasing systems and databases used through your structured way of working

Requirements

  • You have completed commercial training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), office management clerk (m/f/d) or as a wholesale and foreign trade clerk (m/f/d) and foreign trade (m/f/d)
  • In addition, you have sound professional experience in the field of operational purchasing or materials management and are very familiar with the procedures of modern procurement processes in companies
  • You are particularly characterised by your secure knowledge of the common MS Office applications and ideally initial practical user experience in dealing with the SAP R/3 system
  • German language skills at native speaker level in spoken and written as well as a clear and precise way of expressing yourself for communication with your contact persons:
  • Furthermore, you have a high degree of reliability and a pronounced affinity for numbers in order to be able to master the complex requirements of the daily purchasing process with confidence at all times
  • Finally, you are a real team player and always work conscientiously and in a solution-oriented manner, keeping an overview of your tasks at all times, even in stressful situations
