Job description

  • You will be responsible for the complete processing of day-to-day operations within the purchasing department to ensure seamless material availability and a smooth process chain
  • In addition, you will be responsible for professional supplier onboarding and the maintenance of master data in the system to ensure a high-quality database for all further procurement processes
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for all communication with external service providers and partners, where you act as a central interface and proactively keep an eye on deadlines and delivery times
  • The creation of regular reports and support in the evaluation of key figures are also part of your tasks in order to create a sound basis for management decisions
  • As part of your work, you support the optimisation of internal procurement processes and actively contribute your expertise, to continuously increase efficiency in the area of indirect purchasing
  • Finally, you will be responsible for checking incoming invoices and clarifying price or quantity differences in close coordination with financial accounting and the respective specialist departments of the company

Requirements

  • You have completed a commercial apprenticeship as an office management assistant (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or wholesale and foreign trade management assistant (m/f/d)
  • In addition, you have sound professional experience in the field of purchasing or materials management, which enables you to handle complex administrative processes confidently and independently, handle complex administrative processes confidently and independently
  • You are a technically adept professional in a modern working environment thanks to your sound knowledge of SAP S/4HANA software, SAP Ariba and common Office systems
  • You have a native level of written and spoken German and you use your clear and precise language to communicate with all stakeholders internally and externally
