• You will create and monitor orders, thereby ensuring on-time delivery
• You will check incoming order confirmations to ensure they match the order
• You will obtain quotations and compare prices and terms and conditions
• You will negotiate prices, terms and conditions and delivery dates with suppliers
• You will maintain existing supplier relationships and evaluate suppliers according to defined criteria
• You will independently research new sources of supply
• You will check incoming goods and invoices and resolve any discrepancies that arise
• You handle complaints and liaise with our suppliers and internal specialist departments
• You will maintain product and supplier master data in the ERP system
• You will compile statistics and key performance indicators relating to purchasing and prepare them for analysis

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a vehicle painter (m/f/d), painter and varnisher (m/f/d) or industrial painter (m/f/d)
• You have experience in spray painting and the surface treatment of workpieces
• You are confident in operating paint booths, spray guns and oven systems
• You have a good command of written and spoken German, as well as a valid work permit
• You are characterised by your attention to detail and a keen eye for surface quality
• You work reliably and independently, and consistently adhere to safety regulations and quality requirements
• You have the technical understanding required to identify and rectify minor faults in the system
