• You will lead the procurement team of five colleagues and actively help to develop the team culture, taking internal company objectives into account
• You will also take responsibility for the entire procurement process and for drafting supply and framework contracts in accordance with regulatory requirements
• You will play an active role in both day-to-day operational and strategic procurement and will provide ongoing support to suppliers
• You will also be primarily responsible for the further development of the procurement and supplier strategy, including efficient process workflows
• You will optimise procurement-related ERP processes, such as master data maintenance and the compilation and analysis of procurement statistics and relevant key performance indicators
• You will conduct independent price and contract negotiations in both national and international contexts, as well as when seeking alternative procurement markets and new suppliers
• You will be responsible for the selection, evaluation and qualification of suppliers within the regulated medical technology sector and will be involved in overseeing the conduct of audits./li>

• You have a degree in a technical or business-related subject, such as Industrial Engineering (m/f/d), Business Administration (m/f/d) or Technical Purchasing (m/f/d)
• You also have several years’ professional experience in a comparable role within the manufacturing sector, ideally in medical technology
• Your excellent knowledge of the procurement of plastics, metal parts and mechanical components, as well as your business and technical acumen, set you apart
• You possess strong negotiation skills and assertiveness, and are able to conduct complex contract negotiations independently and bring them to a successful conclusion
• You have good to very good written and spoken English, which you use confidently in an international environment
• We require you to have a strong affinity for processes, Excel and numbers, as well as confidence in using MS Office and comprehensive knowledge of SAP or ERP systems
• To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your specialist expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and be a permanent resident in Germany
