• In this role, you will lead, manage and further develop the three-person procurement team
• You will be responsible for the entire procurement process and will draw up supply and framework contracts, whilst sourcing a wide range of products from screws to plastic and metal parts
• You will play an active role in the day-to-day operations of both operational and strategic procurement and manage supplier relationships
• You will further develop the procurement and supplier strategy, as well as internal and external processes, in consultation with senior management
• You will continuously improve procurement-related ERP processes and master data management
• You will conduct price and contract negotiations independently in both national and international contexts
• You will select, evaluate and qualify suppliers within the regulated medical technology sector and seek out alternative procurement markets and suppliers
• You will compile procurement statistics and key performance indicators and act as the main point of contact for internal and external audits

• A successfully completed degree in engineering or business administration, or a comparable qualification, or a completed apprenticeship as a business administrator, business administration specialist in procurement, technical purchaser or logistics and procurement specialist (m/f/d) forms the basis of your background
• You have already gained several years’ professional experience in a comparable role within the manufacturing sector, as well as some initial management experience
• You have experience in the medical technology or technical sector, ideally with knowledge of purchasing plastics, metal parts and mechanical components
• You will stand out thanks to your excellent SAP and ERP skills, confidence in using MS Office, and a strong aptitude for processes, Excel and numbers
• You have a good command of written and spoken German, as well as a good command of written and spoken English
• You are characterised by strong negotiation skills, assertiveness and a very good understanding of business and technical matters
• You are resident in Germany and hold a valid residence permit
