• You will carry out systematic quality and visual inspections of delivered raw materials, purchased parts and components in accordance with the inspection plan
• You measure the components precisely using analogue and digital hand-held measuring instruments, in particular micrometres and callipers
• You verify tolerances by comparing the measurement results with specifications from technical drawings, purchase documents and internal quality standards
• You document test results comprehensively and in a legally compliant manner, and maintain the quality data in the ERP or CAQ system
• You flag faulty deliveries, transfer them to the rejected goods store and draw up defect reports for Purchasing and suppliers
• When investigating quality deviations, you work closely with Production, Maintenance and Purchasing

• A completed technical apprenticeship, for example in the metalworking sector, or a comparable qualification with further training in quality assurance is part of your qualifications
• You have extensive experience in incoming goods inspection and are fully proficient in using precision measuring instruments, particularly micrometres
• Reading and understanding technical drawings, form and positional tolerances, and inspection instructions is part of your remit
• You are confident using a computer, for example for documentation in SAP, MS Excel or CAQ systems
• Your approach to work is structured, highly conscientious and detail-oriented; you demonstrate assertiveness when dealing with quality defects
• good written and spoken German are part of your skill set
• a valid work permit for Germany rounds off your profile
