Job description

  • You will provide technical leadership to the quality control team in the production environment and drive its development
  • You will ensure compliant in-process and final inspections in accordance with ISO 13485, MDR and FDA 21 CFR Part 820
  • You are responsible for the release of components, assemblies and finished devices
  • You manage testing processes and continuously develop them further
  • You handle deviations and non-conformities and, together with the Quality Assurance team, initiate corrective actions
  • You optimise QC processes with regard to lean principles, automation, test data acquisition and CAQ

Requirements

  • You have completed training as a medical technician (m/f/d), an industrial foreman in electrical engineering (m/f/d) or hold a comparable qualification
  • You have several years’ experience in quality control within a regulated environment
  • You also have leadership experience and the ability to support and develop a team
  • Good knowledge of the relevant standards (ISO 13485, ISO 14971, MDR), ideally including FDA QSR, are part of your portfolio
  • You are confident in using CAQ systems, test equipment and measurement methods
  • You have excellent written and spoken German and English skills
  • You are organised, reliable, a team player and have a precise, quality-oriented approach to your work
  • A valid work permit completes your profile
