• You will be responsible for the preventive quality assurance of purchased parts during the development phase, including detailed design reviews and comprehensive maturity assessments
• You will also be responsible for the selection, qualification and development of national and international suppliers, and will carry out regular process audits
• Furthermore, you will oversee the full management of the sampling process in accordance with PPAP and VDA 2 for the approval of new components in line with specifications
• The sustainable handling of complaints using 8D reports, as well as monitoring effective corrective actions, is also part of your daily responsibilities
• As part of your role, you will act as a central point of contact, supporting interdisciplinary collaboration between Purchasing, Development and Production to optimise the supply chain
• Furthermore, you will support the systematic monitoring of all relevant key performance indicators as part of the continuous improvement process and carry out risk assessments
• Finally, you will be responsible for the detailed analysis of quality data and the compilation of meaningful statistics for internal reporting

• You have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering, or alternatively a qualification as a technician (m/f/d) or industrial foreman (m/f/d)
• You also have several years’ professional experience in quality management, ideally in purchased parts management or within the automotive industry
• Your solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SharePoint and common ERP systems, as well as the quality methods APQP, FMEA and VDA 6.3
• You confidently apply your native-level written and spoken German, as well as your business-fluent English, in your day-to-day work
• Furthermore, you bring a high degree of assertiveness, a strong process-oriented mindset and a willingness to travel extensively for visits to suppliers worldwide
• To fulfil this role of responsibility, in addition to your technical expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and be permanently resident in Germany
• Finally, you are enthusiastic about technical details and always work in a goal-oriented and methodical manner, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills
