You will support the plant management (m/f/d) in all operational quality matters at the Mönchengladbach site; you will independently handle and coordinate quality-related issues and quality deviations; you will initiate corrective and improvement measures, coordinate and consistently follow them up. You will independently process and coordinate 8D reports, including structured root cause analysis, in collaboration with the relevant departments for internal, supplier and customer complaints, you will assist with complaint management; you will create, maintain and optimise test plans; you will independently manage the local test equipment register and track upcoming test and calibration dates; you will prepare for and support internal and external audits, in some cases taking the lead on-site; as the local point of contact (m/f/d), you act as the point of contact for plant management (m/f/d), production and central quality functions; you raise relevant issues at an early stage and consistently follow up on necessary measures

• You have completed a technical apprenticeship, e.g. as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), mechatronics technician (m/f/d) or toolmaker (m/f/d), with or without a master craftsman’s certificate
• You have at least three years’ professional experience in operational quality assurance within a manufacturing company
• You have advanced SAP skills
• You are familiar with standard QM methods and core tools
• You have in-depth knowledge of complaints management and the application of the 8D methodology
• You have experience in drawing up and maintaining test plans, as well as in test equipment management
• You have experience with quality non-conformities, root cause analysis and corrective action management
• You have practical experience in preparing and conducting audits
• You have a strong command of written and spoken German
• You have a strong hands-on approach and enjoy being on the production floor
• You are characterised by a high degree of initiative and independence
