• You will be responsible for the mechatronic software development of high-precision real-time control systems for complex modern semiconductor manufacturing facilities, whilst adhering to strict quality-related standards
• You will also be responsible for the design and low-level programming of object-oriented C++ software architectures for time-critical real-time applications in high-tech industries
• Furthermore, you will oversee system integration, test automation and troubleshooting of complex control devices in collaboration with interdisciplinary development teams from various specialist departments
• The continuous optimisation of existing software modules and the specification of innovative control algorithms are also part of your varied and challenging responsibilities
• As part of your role, you will support the analysis of system requirements and the preparation of technical documentation for long-term quality assurance
• Furthermore, you will assist in defining interfaces to related hardware and software components, maintaining constant dialogue with subject matter experts
• Finally, you will be responsible for the commissioning of new software versions on prototypes, as well as providing ongoing support throughout the entire product life cycle

• You have successfully completed a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a comparable STEM degree programme
• you also have several years’ solid professional experience in object-oriented software development using C++ in the context of time-critical real-time systems or embedded systems
• your sound knowledge of C++, Linux real-time operating systems, and modern frameworks and tools for Git version control set you apart in your day-to-day work
• You have business-fluent written and spoken German, as well as very good English skills for coordination within an international project environment
• Furthermore, you bring a high degree of analytical thinking, a strong focus on finding solutions, and a keen enthusiasm for technologically challenging tasks
• To fulfil this role of responsibility, in addition to your technical expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and have a permanent residence in Germany.
