• You will accept bulky waste, scrap metal, electrical appliances and other recyclable materials such as lightweight packaging, cardboard, paper and glass
• As the point of contact, you will be on hand to assist customers at the recycling centre and answer their questions in a friendly and professional manner
• You will direct those delivering items to the correct unloading point
• You will ensure the entire recycling centre is kept tidy and clean
• You will use machinery such as diggers, wheel loaders and forklift trucks to move and sort materials on the site
• You will operate other tools and equipment safely and correctly
• You will carry out regular maintenance and servicing on the machinery and equipment
• You carry out loading tasks independently and with care
• You ensure that the recycling centre’s rules are observed and consistently enforced in day-to-day operations

• A customer- and service-oriented mindset comes naturally to you, as does confidence in dealing with customers
• You are a team player and bring flexibility and commitment to the role
• You are known for your reliability and punctuality
• You approach your tasks with determination and a positive attitude
• You have good organisational skills
• Ideally, you hold a Class C/CE driving licence and a forklift licence, though these are not essential
• You are interested in working with machinery and tools and handle them with care
• You have a basic spoken knowledge of German (minimum level)
• A valid work permit is required
