You will be responsible for providing professional advice to managers and all staff on the safety-related design of workplaces and work processes

You will also be responsible for ensuring full compliance with all statutory requirements in your capacity as a qualified occupational safety specialist

You will also oversee the targeted development of the company’s existing safety culture, consistently applying the modern behaviour-based safety approach

Your responsibilities will also include carrying out comprehensive safety assessments of production facilities and providing expert advice on ergonomics

As part of your role, you will support users as an experienced key user with all enquiries regarding the Quentic occupational health and safety management software in use

Furthermore, you will actively support managers in the preparation, comprehensive documentation and follow-up of all occupational health and safety-related risk assessments and safety briefings

Finally, you will be responsible for contributing to the development and long-term establishment of nationally uniform standards in the field of occupational health and safety

REQUIREMENTS

You hold a degree in safety engineering, safety and security, or a comparable technical degree, with additional qualification as an occupational safety specialist (m/f/d)

You also have several years’ solid professional experience across the entire field of occupational health and safety, as well as demonstrable experience in providing expert consultancy

You are distinguished by your confident knowledge of standard IT applications and, ideally, initial practical experience using the specialist software Quentic

You stand out thanks to your native-level command of written and spoken German, as well as very good English skills and a willingness to travel extensively throughout Germany

Furthermore, you bring a high degree of independence and reliability to the independent handling of your tasks

Finally, you are a team player and always work in a structured, customer-focused and solution-oriented manner within a dynamic environment

To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your technical expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and have a permanent residence in Germany

• You have a degree in safety engineering, security and risk prevention, or a comparable technical degree, and hold the additional qualification as an Occupational Safety Specialist (m/f/d)
• You have several years’ solid professional experience across the entire field of occupational health and safety
• You have demonstrable experience in providing expert consultancy
• You have a sound knowledge of standard IT applications and, ideally, some initial practical experience of using the Quentic software
• You speak and write German to a native level
• You have a very good command of English
• You are willing to travel extensively throughout Germany
• You work independently and reliably, and carry out your tasks on your own initiative
• You hold a valid work permit and have a permanent residence in Germany
