• You provide expert advice to customers on plants, gardening equipment, garden furniture and building materials, and answer their questions
• You take orders and process them reliably
• You handle complaints in a customer-focused manner and take the necessary steps
• You water, fertilise and tend to the live plant stock regularly to ensure freshness and quality are maintained
• You sort out wilted or damaged stock and keep the plant displays clean and tidy
• You arrange the sales areas to promote sales and present the goods attractively
• You attach price labels and keep them up to date
• You share responsibility for setting up seasonal markets, such as spring or Christmas markets
• You monitor stock levels in the horticulture department and reorder products independently
• Upon receipt of goods, you check deliveries for completeness and condition and store the goods correctly

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a gardener (m/f/d), florist (m/f/d) or sales assistant (m/f/d) in a garden centre or retail environment
• You have a sound knowledge of plants and how to care for them
• You are interested in gardening equipment, garden furniture and building materials, and can advise customers competently
• You are characterised by a service-oriented and friendly manner when dealing with customers
• You work meticulously and reliably, including when pricing goods and checking incoming stock
• You have an eye for attractive product presentation and sales-promoting displays
• You are able to work independently and have good organisational skills when it comes to stock planning and reordering
• You are physically fit enough to work outdoors and handle goods
• You are a team player and flexible, including when setting up seasonal markets
• You have a basic spoken knowledge of German (minimum level)
• A valid work permit is required
