• You will blast large steel components using a hand-held blasting machine and prepare the surfaces for further processing
• Maintaining and looking after your work equipment, tools and blasting equipment are part of your duties
• You will safely transport steel components between the cutting and production areas using a forklift and a crane
• Working as part of a team, you will move assemblies within the factory and transport small parts to the relevant workstations
• Before painting, you clean and degrease steel parts, mask them off and apply thread sealant
• You prepare small parts for painting and re-machine threads after painting
• You apply preservative to cavities from the inside to provide long-term protection against corrosion
• For dispatch, you assemble batches and small parts

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), metalworker (m/f/d), construction mechanic (m/f/d) or surface coater (m/f/d)
• You hold a forklift and crane operator’s licence
• You are characterised by technical understanding and a quick grasp of new concepts
• Your profile includes spoken German and a valid work permit
• You work conscientiously, flexibly and with a proactive approach
• You demonstrate personal responsibility and decisiveness in your day-to-day work
• You are a team player and show a high level of commitment
